Last updated May 18, 2026. These starter terms are written for the TaskSpa MVP and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before heavy public launch.
TaskSpa is a marketplace where members can post tasks they need completed and other members can bid to complete those tasks. TaskSpa provides the platform, account tools, wallet records, and basic escrow workflow. TaskSpa is not a party to the work agreement between the task poster and the worker.
You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login private, follow applicable laws, and communicate honestly about tasks, bids, timing, and completion. You may not post or accept tasks involving illegal activity, unsafe work, harassment, fraud, stolen property, adult exploitation, or anything that violates another person's rights.
When a task is posted, TaskSpa may hold the maximum task amount from the poster's available balance. Workers can place lower bids while the task is open. When the task is released as complete, the winning worker is credited with the winning bid amount and any remaining held amount may be returned to the poster according to the marketplace workflow.
TaskSpa may cancel, hide, or moderate tasks that appear unsafe, unlawful, abusive, spammy, or outside these terms. The MVP dispute process is handled by support and admin review. Members should keep work notes and proof of completion until payment is released.
Account balances are marketplace credits tracked in TaskSpa. Deposits and withdrawals may require payment processor confirmation and admin review. Withdrawals may be delayed or denied if fraud, duplicate deposits, chargebacks, account misuse, or policy violations are suspected.
The referral program may credit eligible members for qualifying activity from referred users. TaskSpa may adjust, reverse, or deny referral earnings connected to abuse, self-referrals, fake accounts, refunds, or chargebacks.
TaskSpa does not guarantee that any task will receive bids, that any worker will complete a task, or that any poster will accept work. Use common sense, provide clear instructions, and contact support when a task needs review.
